1. Content Scope
FeedMyGuests publishes three main content types:
- Food and drink quantity calculators
- Group-size planning pages (for specific guest counts)
- Planning guides and operational tips for events
2. How Content Is Created
Calculator pages are generated from structured data and deterministic formulas. Each page is built from:
- Food or drink serving assumptions (per-person baseline)
- Unit conversion rules (servings per package, bottle, tray, etc.)
- Price range inputs for budget estimates
- Event-specific guidance blocks for execution planning
Method details are documented on the Methodology page.
3. How Content Is Reviewed
Before changes are published, we run a review checklist that includes:
- Formula and output sanity checks across multiple guest counts
- Internal link validation and canonical URL checks
- Sitemap and indexability validation for priority pages
- Readability and consistency review for explanatory content
4. How Content Is Updated
Content is updated when one or more of the following happens:
- Serving assumptions or conversion data changes
- Price estimate ranges become outdated
- Users report unclear or inaccurate guidance
- Search quality audits identify weak or repetitive sections
Updated pages receive a refreshed "Last reviewed" date on page-level trust blocks where applicable.
5. Corrections Policy
If we find a factual or calculation issue, we correct it as quickly as possible and update relevant pages in the affected cluster. You can report potential issues through our Contact page.
6. Advertising and Editorial Independence
Ads may appear on pages, but ad relationships do not change formulas, methodology, or correction decisions. Calculator outputs are not sponsored recommendations.
